Terms of Service

1. The Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Voelker Life Underwriting Advocacy Network ("VLUAN," "we," "us"). By creating an account, purchasing a membership, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these Terms.
2. Membership & Services
A VLUAN membership provides access to case advocacy, case reviews, email/text consults, APS summaries, the Virtual AI Underwriter, and use of the VLUAN seal. VLUAN provides underwriting judgment, guidance, and advocacy. We are not the insurance carrier and do not bind coverage or issue policies.
3. Billing & Renewal
Membership is $500 per month per member (or the discounted rate of any active promotional code you applied at checkout). Your card is charged on the day you join and automatically every month thereafter until you cancel. All payments are processed by Stripe.
4. Cancellation & No-Refund Policy
You may cancel your membership at any time from the billing portal. Once you cancel, no refund is issued for the current billing month. Your membership remains active through the end of the month you have already paid for, and your subscription will not renew at the next due date. After the paid period ends, access to member features is removed.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree to use VLUAN only for lawful insurance-related work, to keep your login credentials confidential, and not to share your account with non-members. The VLUAN seal may be used only while your membership is active and only to indicate your membership in the network.
6. Confidentiality & HIPAA
Case information you submit may include protected health information. We handle uploaded documents through HIPAA-aligned workflows and storage. You are responsible for obtaining any client authorizations required before sharing applicant information with VLUAN.
7. No Guarantee of Outcome
VLUAN provides expert underwriting opinion and advocacy. Carrier decisions, ratings, and offers are made solely by the applicable insurance carrier. VLUAN does not guarantee approval, a specific rate class, or any particular underwriting outcome.
8. Termination by VLUAN
We may suspend or terminate a membership for non-payment, misuse of the service, misuse of the VLUAN seal, or violation of these Terms. Where reasonably possible we will provide notice.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
